"You belong in a museum"

Films: Creature of Darkness (2009)

Alias: The Catcher

Type: Alien

Location: Eldritch location/Cave/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: That of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Alien hunters. The most feared hunters of them all. Yes, there are many who saw the skills of the Yautja and thought to themselves "I can do that too". But some do it for much more sinister ulterior motives. Sometimes, it isn't about the hunt. It's about the glorious pursuit of science.

History: Known as the Catcher, this alien sought the finest of lifeform specimens to experiment upon and take back to its home planet to store in museums. Today, he's targeted a bunch of teens. Not...quite the apex of our species, but then of course, he probably wouldn't last long against soldiers without his ship.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After killing a few, the Catcher is tied to a dune buggy, goes sailing into a ditch with it, and is helpless as the car is blown up. Miraculously, it survives the ordeal, and retreats in its ship, clearly not intending to return again.

Powers/Abilities: The Catcher often lassos people with a bloody human spinal column, and can make secret passages with its technology. It is also ridiculously resilient.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 4-This is a very, very freaky alien. Sure, the CGI is piss-poor, but between the terrifying practical effects and the overall bizarre design, there's very little complaining. There's also of course the fact that his weapon of choice is a goddamn human spine, but now we're just getting ahead of ourselves.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "Hunter's Moon".

-The Catcher, or at the very least his cloaked form, was played by Phil Van Tee, who seems to have a knack for being in z-grade cinema.

He's got the whole world...in his claw!

Not really a sign of good mental health.
"Who attatched this symbiote to me?!"

So much for a comforting gesture from himself.
These aliens just never forget.
Well, it looks like your prayers have been answered!
